SINE QUA NON: I do wish Enterprise had stuck around for another few episodes.
Would have been nice for it to finish on a nice round 100.
They could have done that (full 100 episodes) if they had just extended the final season order. Especially since seasons 3 and 4 where the first time Trek did not have a 26 episode season since TNG’s season 2,…
I do wish Enterprise had stuck around…if only so they could have made a better ending. Their series finale was the worst Star Trek series finale ever and I’d put up for consideration as one of the worst series finales of all time. I enjoyed the show and was digging their narrative shifts. I like what they were trying to do with the format.
…but when it went out like that, I felt betrayed and never looked back. I have sore spot in my heart for that and I do hold a grudge. As a viewer…I just absolutely hated that ending. It was a disgrace to the show and actors on it.
